Do I Have a Favorite Cafe List?

People sometimes ask if I have a favourite cafe list.

The honest answer is that I try not to.

When I put together cafe lists, I don’t want personal favourites to decide what makes the cut. I look at the coffee, food, atmosphere, consistency, and what each cafe actually offers. A cafe can be one I personally enjoy and still not be the right choice for a particular list.

But if I had to choose one list that feels closest to my own favourite, it would be my Best Cafes in Singapore list.

The reason is simple: it’s for everyone.

There is no narrow niche or specific type of coffee drinker in mind. It isn’t only for specialty coffee enthusiasts, brunch lovers, people looking for pretty interiors, or those hunting for hidden gems.

It’s simply for anyone who wants good coffee in Singapore.

That’s what makes this list special to me. It feels like the most open-ended version of what I do. No matter what kind of cafe person you are, there should be somewhere on the list that makes sense for you.

I may not have a favourite cafe list.

But I do have a list I would happily hand to almost anyone.
